In Resolve, Add markers to your timeline. Enter marker name for the YouTube chapter name. Select position on timeline and hit M. Double click icon to change name/color.
2. Generate Marker EDL
Right click on timeline image in the media pool area. Choose Timeline->Export->Timeline Markers to EDL.
3. Paste EDL Marker Text / Drag & Drop EDL File
Paste the EDL file text into the box on the right to generate your YouTube Chapters, or drag and drop your EDL file into the text area.
Hi, This is a quick experiment to help you generate the chapter list for your YouTube videos. I have have tested it on a few timelines and it appears to work properly. If you use it and have trouble, please let me know.
In Resolve, Add markers to your timeline. Enter marker name for the YouTube chapter name. Right click on timeline image in the media pool area. Choose Timeline->Export->Timeline Markers to EDL... Copy the output, paste into EDL Input,then click Generate YouTube Chapters.
WORK IN PROGRESS... Need allow for selection of marker colors, type, marker name vs notes and other options. If you see issues let me know.
